Nam Tan Irrigation Project | Case |
The Nam Tam watershed is located in the Sainyabuli Province of western Laos. The Nam Tan Irrigation Project dammed the river in the late 1960's and downstream rice agriculture in a 2000 hectare area of the Muong Phieng Valley shifted from an indigenous to bureaucratic irrigation system.
