Cadchog Irrigation takes place in the Bontoc municipality, Mountain Province, Philippines. The resource appropriated is water for irrigation. At the beginning of the period, there was an apparently balanced supply of biological and physical resources withdrawn compared to the number of units available. The irrigation system can generally provide enough water to the appropriators. There is no formal organization to manage this system, although two women have been appointed as leaders. There are rules governing water allocation and maintenance.

The source document noted that there is always sufficient water to meet irrigation users' needs and farmers are capable of resolving water conflicts themselves with occasional help from the two women leader. Hence it can be inferred that this irrigation system is an example of a successful case.
