Rural coastal fishing community, south of Mombasa, Kenya

The fishing community contained in this case study is located approximately 50 km south of the city of Mombasa on the coast of Kenya, outside of the Diani/Chale National Marine Park and Reserve. The village has an estimated 1000 inhabitants in approximately 200 households.
